Are there health risks for kittens who have been conceived by a brother and sister?

I wouldn’t say it is a myth, but I have a border collie that was conceived by a brother and sister. The owners of the dog took her in to get fixed, they told them she was pregnant with eight puppies and would abort them for $800 a puppy. They decided to have the puppies and get them fixed when they were old enough or have them put to sleep if there was something wrong with them (seeing as how that was a lot cheaper than the other option) before they gave them to anyone. All the puppies were normal, physically and mentally. But you never know, I would look into it a little more, or ask a vet they would probably know a little more.
