No. There is no health risk associated with fluoridation of municipal water. Adding fluoride to our drinking water helps build strong enamel on teeth and reduce dental cavities. It is a powerful tool to help prevent dental disease, and Alberta Health Services is fully supportive of The City’s decision to add fluoride to our municipal water supply. 4.
