Are there grocery stores to buy additional food?
Yes, Rocky point has a variety of grocery, meat & vegatables stores and stands. These markets are in some ways similar to the U.S., while in other ways are different. Some of the similairties are the choices of products. In general, most items you can find in the U.S., can be found here. There are obviously more mexican associated ingredients, but many other the can goods and staples are from U.S. companies with spanish languange labels. The differences in their markets versus the U.S., is that in Rocky Point, there are many speciality stores. It is very common to have meat markets, vegatables stores, seafood, household product stores and staples stores. Some of these stores just offer the meat products or are a large vegatable stands with the produce coming just off the truck. In the last several years, there have been additions of all purpose grocery stores added, such that you can shop at one store.
