Are there grocery stores or markets nearby?
On the trip south from the airport on 307 you’ll pass major grocery store chains in Playa Del Carmen, including Soriana, Chedraui, Wal-Mart and Mega. Another great option is San Franciso de Assis supermarket in Tulum, 10 minutes south of Chan Chemuyil on 307. In the pueblo of Chemuyil there is a large convenience store called the Super Pool Express and there are also many smaller local stores that will have basic necessities.
