One of the reasons I suggest studying your practice before buying a system is that it allows you to determine at what point you can justify the cost of new software. That’s the only way to do it. There is no number or formula that can reliably tell you whether an EMR is for you. Whether it saves money or improves productivity depends entirely on the individual practice.
