Are there Friday or Sunday morning shuttles or carpooling?
The routes for the 2009 Bend’s Beat Down – I mean Bend’s Big Fat Tour are now available on the Downloads Page. We strongly suggest carpooling to the Sunriver Resort main Lodge on Friday morning. May we suggest meeting at the old Mt. Bachelor Park & Ride (off Simpson Ave.) and leaving from there by 7:00 so you can arrive in Sunriver by 7:30 in time to check in, load your bike in the truck and yourself in the bus, which by the way, are LEAVING at 8:00am sharp! make sure your carpoolers want to stay in Sunriver Resort for the evening as long as you plan to… On Sunday if you want to carpool to the Scout Lake Day Use West of Sisters, we suggest you make some friends Saturday night and ask about carpooling. We aren’t officially providing transport for Sunday and many folks drive home (to somewhere further West) from there but there are also many folks returning to Bend afterwards. Maybe there will be an announcement about it Saturday at the Party.
