Are There Fellowship Openings At The Center for Integrative Medicine?
Yes. We offer both clinical and post-doctoral research fellowships positions. In the case of the latter, the successful candidate will have completed doctoral training and hold a Ph.D., M.D., D.O., D.D.S., or equivalent. The position is funded by an NIH Center grant focusing on arthritis and related disorders and the fellow will conduct research in that general area. Criteria for successful candidacy include CAM interest level, commitment to an independent CAM research career and previous CAM and research training. The clinical fellowship aims to train physicians to practice integrative medicine and to be future leaders and teachers in this field. Fellows are mentored by our senior clinical staff and work in an integrative setting at our clinic, the Center for Healing. An important part of the fellowship is learning about and practicing self-care so that both personal and professional growth as well as the quality of patient care will be optimized.
