Are there facilities in Anawangin?
Yes, but only the bare necessities. Campsites have 3 bathrooms and large changing booths each. The northern campsite (the one on the right when facing the sea) has a motorized pump to keep their drums filled with water. The campsite on the south has yet to have a motorized pump as of this writing. There are several manual deep-well pumps available in and around the area. The place is riddled with picnic tables that campers can use. The tables are sturdy and quite comfortable. If you are staying overnight, make sure you pitch your tents near a table so dining (and drinking) would be convenient. In case you need to buy items in Anawangin, the caretaker’s hut at the middle of the beach doubles as a store. They sell snacks, water, drinks, camping things, etc. Don’t be shocked by the prices though; their merchandise are very expensive. It’s always best to carry whatever stuff you can to the beach or borrow houseware from your boatman. Peddlers sell hammocks at PhP 200 – PhP 300 with “free i
