A. NOT for household garbage. However, the City of Houston provides facilities at 5565 Kirkpatrick, and 9200 Lawndale. These facilities accept all types of heavy trash, tires, and recyclables. Open Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, except holidays. For more information go to the City of Houston’s Department of Solid Waste Management.
