Are there facilities for disabled passengers?
Travelling with Eurotunnel is ideal for disabled passengers in wheelchairs or passengers with limited mobility who may need assistance in the unlikely event of an evacuation. From entering the terminal to driving off the train in France you are not required to leave your vehicle unless you choose to do so. Access to the Passenger Terminal Building, shops and Food Village is easy. There are no steps, and facilities are provided such as disabled parking spaces, toilets and low-level telephone booths. If any drivers and/or passengers are holders of a valid disabled badge and use a wheelchair or need assistance with mobility on board, Eurotunnel ask that the badge be on display and that you inform them when you check in. When driving out to the boarding lanes you follow the recognised overhead disabled signs and you will be boarded at the front of the shuttle.
