Are there exceptions to the standard entry requirements?
Yes. Mature students are welcome to apply with a single A-level qualification (or pending qualification) in Music, or one of the alternative academic Music qualifications mentioned above. The Department of Music participates in the University’s flexible admissions scheme which allows lower offers to be made to students studying at schools with below-average A-level grades. All applications are viewed on their individual merits, and lower offers are occasionally made to promising students.
