Are there evaluations for new players?
A. Yes, in the Under 10, Under 12, and Under 14 (competitive) divisions. ALL new players must be evaluated prior to team formation to assure the integrity of balanced teams. Evaluations typically take place in May on the Saturdays of Registration, but may also be scheduled in June or July for new late registrants just before final team formation is locked in. Please check www.ayso214.org for scheduled evaluation times. New players in the competitive divisions who do not attend an evaluation are not likely to be placed on a team, and the registration fee will be forfeited.
