Are there enough qualified people to perform energy modelling and blower door testing? Isn’t this going to slow down construction and increase costs?

We are working with NRCan to increase the number of people in all regions of B.C. with the necessary knowledge and credentials to perform tasks such as blower door testing and energy modelling by the time our code change takes effect. Modelling and testing cost relatively little and provide a great deal of value helping to educate builders on how to improve their construction approaches and methods.
