Are there different types of weapon shots?
Much like the strategy involved in a fight, each strategy comes with its own specialized ammo. There is Round Shot that attacks the hull of the opposing ship, Dismantling Shots that are used to destroy the other ship’s sails, and there are Anti-Personnel Shots that are used to injure and kill the opposing ship’s crewmembers so there are less crew to reload canons and help with boarding attacks among other things.
