Are there different types of waterproofing systems for showers etc?
o Actually, there are a couple of systems that we implement. First is called the schluter Kerdi membrane which is basically a role of membrane that is applied with thinset to the area where tile will be installed. The next system is called Red-guard which is a simple and easy way to waterproof. It is simply applied like paint and becomes a rubbery substance which in turn waterproofs the area where tile will be installed.
