Visualization is a generic term used to describe the process of creating visual images in the mind. As such, all graphics software provides visualization capabilities by letting us “see” a graphical representation of some aspect of the real world. There are literally hundreds of different graphics software packages sold at the retail level. An even larger number of custom applications have been developed for business and scientific purposes.
