Are there different types of sanitary towels?
I have never heard fo them either…I was thinking maybe it was those old-fashioned ones that our grandmas used that you needed to wear a belt with but I doubt they even make these anymore. I reckon just phone the hospital or centre and ask them what it means.. You can probably use any pads you like preferably non scented ones to reduce likelihood of irritation. Maybe they used the word gynecology instead of menstrual incase some women just thought it mean sanitary as in “clean” towels… as in a clean bath towel…
