Are there different types of organizations?
Yes! At, Southeast there are three types of Greek councils, which are referred to as the Interfraternity Council (IFC), Panhellenic Council, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). The IFC and the Panhellenic Association serve as the governing body for the fraternities and sororities, respectively. The NPHC is a national coordinating body for the historically African American fraternities and sororities at Southeast. Each group has different eligibility requirements and is unique in its membership, tradition, scholarship and social activities.
