Are there different types of dermatology?
YOu are essentially trained in all the aspects of clinical dermatology in residency. In med school you rotate through all general medicine specialties. You may not necessarily be trained in cosmetic procedures–often you have to take courses in that once you are finished. Most dermatologists have general practices as a base and may do special stuff as an overlay. What specialties were you thinking?
