Are there different types of cold water gold fish?
There are atleast 16 different types of gold fish: Comet, Common, Black moor, Buble eye, Celestial eye, Fantail, Lionhead, Oranda, Pearlscale, Pompom, Ryukin, Shubunkin, Telescope eye, Veiltail, Panda moor and Ranchu. some types of gold fish don’t go well in a tank with other types though. i would ask the pet shop owner wich ones go well with others.
you can get some pretty wierd fish for coldwater tanks other than goldfish although you can get white silver and even deep red goldfish. other coldwater fish include… weather loaches (a long eal like fish with barbs on its mouth (can reach 17cm long) ) Hong kong pleco (a little sucker fish (spotty) ) ghost koi carp (chinese fish minature to the koi carp) ) Danios (origonally tropical but survive in coldwater) Zebra, leapord, pearl and silver danios are avalible) hope you have fun with all these new fish you can get. they all get along with goldfish and all get on with each other.
