Are there different strains of swine flu, with more dangerous strains that kill healthy people?
There is no indication at this time that the swine flu has mutated into more resistant strains. Healthy people that have died from swine flu likely had an underlying medical condition or contracted a co-infection that led to death. Swine flu has not been determined to be more severe than seasonal flu, but it is affecting a different age group than seasonal flu does.
