Are there different methods of sweeping?
Yes. Traditional broom sweeping is one option. Another less-abrasive method is an air sweeper. This type of machine has “gutter brooms,” that provide a clean curb line and a sweeping action that’s more gentle on the pavement. This type of machine also produces much less dust during operation, and picks up small material that can become airborne.
