There are two completely different motors. All Sewhandy and GENERAL ELECTRIC MODEL A sewing machines use the GENERAL ELECTRIC Universal sewing machine motor, EXCEPT for the Sewhandy with the “Manufactured by the Osann Corporation -successors” decal on the bed center front edge which was made by SINGER. The SINGER produced model has a slower SINGER BRK/BUK Universal sewing machine motor.
