Are there differences in how different browsers work with PeopleSoft?

Yes there are! One of the differences is how the different browsers store the CAH cookie. IE V6 associates the cookie with the current browser session. If you log out of the PeopleSoft application, even if you have left the CAH login page minimized, if you attempt to log back into PeopleSoft, you’ll need to re-authenticate. Netscape v6.2, as you might guess, works differently. As long as you have any open Netscape window open, the CAH cookie is retained. So in the same scenario as above, if you tried to get back into the PeopleSoft application you would not need to re-authenticate (so long as it is within the 3 hour CAH time limit-see above). There may be other differences between versions for browsers that we have not yet documented.
