Are there deadlines for submitting applications?
YES. Each destination university has its own deadline and they vary as their academic calendars are all a little different. Most are quite different to the academic calendar at JCU. To allow time for all the processes at JCU and the destination university, we have two deadlines each year. You must submit applications to JCU Students Abroad by those deadlines. For study abroad in the second half of the same year, you must submit an Application for Approval to Study Overseas on Exchange to the Faculty office by March 15. For study abroad in the first half of the calendar year, you must submit your Request for Overseas Study to the Faculty office by August 15 of the previous year.
