there aren’t any organised day trips as such … Blarney is near to Cork in the south of Ireland … Ryanair fly to Cork from both Gatwick and Stansted, and Aer Lingus fly to Cork from Heathrow … when I went to Blarney Castle we’d flown to Cork and hired a car for the week but looking at the map Blarney seems to be less than 10 miles from the airport … I guess it would be possible to fly over and hire a taxi to take you to Blarney … I’ve still got the photo of me kissing the stone, but I can’t say it’s made any difference to my eloquance !!
