There are a number of SCAP self-asserted tools. NIST is in the process of accrediting labs to conduct official validation testing of software products that claim SCAP capability. The first SCAP validated tools should be available in early 2008. However, tools that assert full SCAP capability for FDCC scanning tools can be helpful in preparing your organization for the upcoming February 1st, 2008 OMB deadline.
