Are there conditions that encourage dreaming?
Yes, I dream better when I’m rested. I know it sounds like a paradox, but when I’m too tired, I do not have good dreams. Dreams for me occur when I have been getting good sleep and am not too tired. It is the same for physical tiredness or mental stress. When I have been doing lots of outside work that is physically demanding, I don’t dream (or remember) much. I’m just too tired. The same thing happens when I am emotionally stressed. I dream poorly.
