Are there characteristics common to Steelers teams?
Coughlin: “Sure, sure, absolutely. That is the way they play. They play a physical brand of football. They are an outstanding defensive team, primarily a team that wants to be able to run the football, play very good special teams. They are an aggressive team, a challenging team. The characteristics of the way in which the game is played by that franchise carry over.” Q: When they were here four years ago you talked to (then-Steelers coach Bill Cowher) and both of you were impressed with Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger, who were then rookie quarterbacks.
