Yes. Some seats swivel allowing only a lap seat belt to be used in the rearward direction, a lap/sash in the transverse direction and a lap in the forward direction. The swivel mechanism must be disabled and the lap belt removed. Update 08/09/04 this has been superseded by an ADR4/03 item issued 23/08/04.
