Are there certain project categories that are better for boys (or girls)?

We don’t like to stereotype any of our members – we’ve seen lots of girls love to bang things with a hammer and rough and tough little boys get really interested in making T-shirts. With that in mind, we offer several categories of projects for your children and look to you to pick which category you think your child would like best (Woodworking, Future Designers or Mix & Match). We think you’ll discover some hidden talents and interest once your kids get involved with the projects. If you find your child looses interest with one of the categories, you are welcome to switch to something else to see if your child engages better in different kinds of projects. If you can’t decide on a category we strongly recommend enrolling in Mix & Match because it is a very well-rounded grouping of projects.
