Are there certain kinds of service that are inappropriate for Terps for Change volunteers?
Volunteers should not come into contact or have to clean any type of hazardous/bodily spills, nor should they be asked to lift any items over 20 pounds. While we want the volunteers to help with projects that are genuinely needed by our community partners, we also hope that our community partners will be able to provide service initiatives that are engaging and can add to our students’ service-learning experience.
