Are there certain foods that increase lactation?

No actual food is going to produce more. It is said that oatmeal can help to increase, but personally I found that to be a load of garbage, and honestly, who wants to eat oatmeal everyday. I used a combo of alfalfa, fenugreek, mothers milk tea, and oatmeal for 2 months. My supply didn’t change, I didn’t pump any extra, and frankly, I got tired of smellin glike maple syrup and eating the darn oatmeal. Nursing more often will make the supply stay strong, and when you are unable to nurse, pump for atleast 15 minutes even if youare not getting anything.

I have heard that beer can increase milk production, as well as something called “fenugreek”. If you consume alcohol while breastfeeding, make sure to wait at least 2-3 hours before nursing again.

I’m not sure about foods, but I know when I drink a ton of water, I produce a ton of milk. I’m talking like ALOT of water, and in no time at all I’m “full” lol.
