Are there cases when Office updates won appear in the MBSA report?
Yes. Office 2000 is not supported by Microsoft Update, so MBSA will not provide security update scans for Office 2000 products. Also, MBSA and Microsoft Update do not support Office installations performed from an Administrative Installation Point (AIP).
