Are there cases that are not appropriate for Victim Offender Dialog?
Yes. Before a case can move forward, the referring youth must admit responsibility for their actions, volunteer to enter the program, and complete the work throughout the VOD program. It is also important that victims are prepared for meeting the offender. Our number one priority is to ensure all participants are safe throughout the VOD process.
