Are there calipers with 6 pistons in the production like of Brembo?
Brembo never has not are we planning on starting to develop this technique in the future. We have made this choice and would like to explain it: With 6 calipers, the brake pads would have to have a greater surface, and the greater the surface, the more important becomes the heat-factor. That increase in temperature, in addition to a decrease of effectiveness, decreases the lifespan of the disc. Also, the longer the brake pads are (which would be necessary with 6 calipers), the breaking distance is farther, and the point at which the wheels block is closer.
