A. There are four books which are all excellent resources for the Avid editor wishing to learn more. Although none of the books discuss Xpress DV directly, all three are great resources. Newbies and seasoned editors alike can pick up any of these books and learn.

The Avid Handbook, Techniques for the Avid Media Composer and Avid Xpress – by Steve Bayes The Avid Digital Editing Room Handbook – by Tony Solomons Avid Editing, A Guide for Beginning and Intermediate Users – by Sam Kauffmann Video Editing with Avid – by Roger Shufflebottom Avid also had a training CD and book specifically for Xpress DV.
