Are there big differences between raising goats in America and raising goats in Italy?

I’ve never raised goats in America, but from what I’ve read, there are some pretty big differences, starting with the fact that an Italian goat farmer doesn’t bottle-feed kids unless absolutely necessary; this isn’t to say that all American goat caretakers bottle-feed, but from what I understand it’s much more common there than here. I’m sure there are other differences, and I look forward to learning about and sharing them here.
