Are there assignment deadlines for E-Learning classes?
Yes. The majority of E-Learning classes provided at Skagit Valley College allow you to complete your reading and other assigned tasks at your own pace. However, instructors often request that students complete quizzes or discussion board assignments by a particular date and time. In other words, your instructor may ask you to read pages 1-85 of your textbook during your first week. You can do this at your own pace, so long as it is completed during the first week. Subsequently, an instructor may ask you to take the Chapter 1 quiz by 5:00 p.m. on Friday of your first week. It is important that you read the class syllabus and any other information pertaining to your E-Learning class schedule.
