Are there areas of specialization for radiographers?
There are several areas of specialization in radiography from which to choose, including vascular radiography, tomography, computerized tomography, pediatric radiography, magnetic resonance imaging, mammography and ultrasound. Students are introduced to vascular radiography, computerized radiography, tomography, mammography, and pediatric radiography in the certificate program. The B.S. program provides in-depth training in the areas of computerized tomography (CT), mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), vascular radiography, and ultrasound.
