Are there any websites that providee brief summaries of famous works of literature?
I know it’s not a website but I was bought a book called “Passing Time in the Loo” (no, not that sort of passing on the loo!) and it contains 2 page biographies, summaries of world events, and precis of about a hundred major works of classical and contemporary works of fiction and non-fiction along with a host of other valuable information to help you appear erudite – well worth the investment and easier to read on the loo than an web page 😉
