Are there any waves in Hawaii during the Summer Seasons?
North Shore is often like glass June-August. Surfers pray for waves to pick up on south facing shores like Waikiki in the summer months. Those waves are usually small, though. 3-6 is about the best you can expect, so you see longboards and boogie boards. You might get waves at Sandy’s, that’s east-facing, but Waimea, Pipeline will probably be flat to a foot.
