Are there any water fountains on Hampstead Heath?
Britian does not do water fountains, probably because the weather does not warrant it. Also, when I do mention them to other Britons, they screw up their face and say it wouldn’t be hygenic. Very occasionally I have spotted one inside a museum, but more often than not there is no free supply of chilled water for the public like you see everywhere in the US. This means you either a) carry your own water around with you or b) buy a hugely expensive bottle of plastic filled with water that has been trucked in from thousands of miles away then left on a shelf so it’s warm.
