Are there any VP1000 piping requirements?

0

Installations of vapor piping into the inlet side of the vacuum pump should be sloped such that the natural flow direction is toward the vacuum pump. However, it is permissible to have a piping slope tilted away from the vacuum pump provided that all other applicable tests meet the specifications outlined in the EO and IOMs. Additionally, the VP1000 must be orientated such that the dispenser vapor piping connects to the Inlet at the top of the pump cover and the discharge piping connects from the bottom to the Outlet of the pump cover. Also, a tee and ball valve are required on the VP1000 inlet for testing purposes. See EO and IOMs for complete details.
