Are there any virtual conferences or other virtual learning opportunities for AALL members?
Over the past two years, AALL has implemented a number of new virtual educational opportunities to help our members continue their professional development outside the Annual Meeting and to help those who aren’t able to travel to conferences. We offer one-hour monthly webinars on focused topics, such as negotiation skills, staffing the library for success, global legal research, competitive intelligence, and library budgeting. This year AALL is live-streaming three programs from the 2010 Annual Meeting. These webcasts will be available to anyone for free over the internet, and the archived videos will be accessible for free to AALL members through AALL2go, our live learning center. AALL2go also hosts all audio recordings of AALL Annual Meeting educational programs since 2007, as well as archived webinars and other recorded programs produced by chapters, special interest sections, and individual members.
