There are private vineyards – wine writer Jamie Goode has one in Twickenham (see http://www.wineanorak.com/blog/2007/07/v… ) If you are interested in visiting a commercial vineyard winery, then Denbies in Dorking, on the southern border of Greater London, has the largest vineyard in England, make some good wines and is ideal for a day out.
