Are there any uses for shredded paper?

Hi! We use shredded paper for the following: * Storing apples /Potatoes / Onions and other crops * Starting the fire at the allotment * If we are sure about the lack of ink toxicity, to line waterproof hedgehog runs / nesting boxes * As a mulch / starter plant insulation * Hanging basket thin over liner layer * Packaging * Making papier-mache for modeling * Compressing into fire bricks * Stuffing scarecrows / Guy Fawkes * Protecting crockery & ornaments during removal * Bran tub * Once treated – between shed walls as insulation * Sewn into a pillow-case as a temporary sick bird / animal bed Good wishes.
