Are there any theories stating that human growth being hampered by change of surroundings, communication etc?
Its not some much a case of human growth being hampered by changes in there habitat, its more a case of natural selection. For example if you take the average height of a western european and compare it to the average heights of a person from the amazon rain forest, you will find that there is a major difference with the european being much taller. This is because if a tall person lived in the jungle they would have to spend most of there time bent over as they would have to duck to miss the branches. Ja.
