Are there any suger and fat free dessert recipes out there?
you can modify any recipe you already have but be carefull. Use splenda instead of sugar, the directions for measuring is on the package of Splenda. Not all artificial sweetener is stable enough to bake with so stick with Splenda. Going fat free is possible too. In cakes, muffins and cookies, you can replace half or more of the fat with apple sauce. Sounds weird but it works. I totally can skip the butter in my banana bread recipe by just adding more bananas. When experimenting, do a small recipe, like a small cake, or a small batch of cookies. You can also replace sugar with added fruits and skip the artificial sweetener but for diabetic concerns , it doesn’t matter where the carbs(sugars)come from, fruit or actually sugar, it is the same in the end. Google diabetic recipes and see how many sites pop up.
