Are there any sudoku puzzle championships?
If you are really good at sudoku, or even puzzles in general, then there are competitions you can enter. At the top level there is the world puzzle championships and there are also ones specifically for sudoku puzzles. In these you will tend to find lots of obscure variants, and half the battle is working out what you are supposed to do, so it pays to expose yourself to as many of the different sudoku variants that exist as you possibly can. There are federations or organisations you can contact for more information in many countries.
